Silicon Connection is Silver Sponsor of World Vision’s inaugural ‘Race for Relief‘.
This event aimed to raise awareness and funds for the Hunger Crisis to help 22 million people in East Africa who are suffering due to drought and conflict. Families are starving and running in search of food, shelter and water. There are 3.5 million children under-5 years old suffering from undernourishment.
The ‘Race for Relief’ event took place at Stadium Riverside Walk on 15 July 2017 at 5 pm. The team from Silicon Connection ran/ walked the full 5km journey in cool breezy weather. We are happy to have contributed to the success of this meaningful charity event. With the help from the Sponsors and contribution from the public, World Vision has successfully raised their targeted funds for this event.
